1.Course overview
This course equips aspiring Architectural Draftsmen with the skills necessary to produce digital architectural models. Participants will engage in practical applications of rendering techniques, focusing on both exterior and interior designs, as well as project animations. By utilizing industry-standard software, the learner will learn to create visually compelling presentations that effectively communicate architectural concepts.
2.Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the learner should be able to:
- Produce Exterior Render
- Create detailed and realistic exterior renderings of architectural designs.
- Produce Interior Render
- Develop high-quality interior renderings that effectively showcase space and design elements.
- Produce Project Animation
- Generate engaging project animations that illustrate design intent and spatial relationships.
3. Learner Responsibilities and Requirements
- Attendance: Regular attendance is essential to grasp course content effectively.
- Participation: Engage actively in class discussions and practical sessions.
- Assignments: Complete all assignments and projects on time.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) is recommended.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with peers on group projects when applicable.
4. Assessment Criteria
The learner will be assessed based on the following:
- Practical Assignments: Completion of exterior and interior render projects.
- Project Animation: Submission of a final project animation that meets specified criteria.
- Class Participation: Active involvement in class discussions and activities.
- Peer Reviews: Participation in peer feedback sessions to evaluate and improve design work.
